Age Limit:   

  • For Junior Research Fellowship the candidates should not age more than 28 years. 5 years age relaxation will be given to the SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.
  • For Assistant Professor there is no upper age limit given.

About CTET in brief
The Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) is a body who recruits the teachers for the Central Govt. Schools (CBSE) through an entrance examination, first it was held in 2011, It is based on M.C.Q ( Multiple Choice Question) with no negative marking. Generally it is conducted twice a year.
There is two types of papers – Paper 1 and Paper 2
1. Paper-I -candidates who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V
2. Paper-II -candidates who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.
3. Candidate may be intends for the both the levels (Paper I and II), but have to appear in both the exams
Pattern of Test
Test is conducted in the subject of i.e. English, Hindi, Punjabi, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies and Child Psychology’s.
Test consists 150 marks in which 30 questions from each subject taken. 60% of the total marks considered as Pass that is 90 marks. Further actions is taken after the merit list finalized.
